Seasons of "Awo"(2013-2020)

The soil of Fukushima, which was polluted by the nuclear accident in March 2011,  was collected and covered with blue sheets. For a long time, large blue objects were placed in the corners of gardens and fields, giving it a strange presence. Even now, the work is continuing that removing contaminated soil from the house to the temporary storage area and to the intermediate storage facility .Before I knew it, the blue sheets changed to a green sheets, but they cannot be hidden that they are "foreign substances" that differ from the natural color. In Japan, blue and green have been called "Awo" since ancient times. Blue, green , and light blue FIBC, and various varieties have been indelibly etched in my mind. Throughout many seasons, they were worn out by exposure to strong sun light, wind and rain. I recorded the seasons of "Awo"in Fukushima.
