In this series, I took many pictures of hemp palm that is a kind of palm tree.
You can find this evergreen garden tree throughout Japan.
They were planted in the garden in front of the house that were built in 1960’s to1970’s that was period of high growth.
But now, those houses looked somewhat shabby and old-fashioned.
Someday, I went to a tsunami-scarred area along the coast in Fukushima prefecture.
There was a total wrecked palm tree.
In Residential areas, decontamination has been continuing, and it won’t end.
I think about the future of Fukushima that will change through taking pictures of palm trees that have seen past 50years.
